My family is hilarious.. other than that I have a sister, both me and my sister are the only two with diabetes in our whole family, and two brothers. Both of my parents are chiropracters but don't practice anymore. My dad runs an engineering firm and my mom is a homemaker.

 

A job that I have had in the past was a snowboarding instructor.. and one of the most fun.

 

One of the most interesting and beautiful places that I have been is the Dominican Republic

 

One of the best projects that I have made was a skateboard with motion lights as well as head lights so the boarder can skate easily at night.

 

I have a dog named Lily that I got for free in Walmart parking lot my freshman year at Southern. I also have a cat named White Socks... because he looks like he has white socks on.. not the team.

 

 

 

 

Through careful deliberation, I've decided that I'm going to discuss your collage (this is Barrett by the way).  Your collage has some good overlay effects and transparnencies that give it a vague sense of space which is nice because the picture in the background is of the campus, which also deals with space.  Combinding the different depths of the pictures and the landscape works well because they compliment each other and balance the collage well.  I also like the elipse shape of the pictures because it lets me know that you didn't just throw them into the collage and they work well with the organic feel of the big picture.  Had you gone with square shaped pictures the overall flow and symmetry would have been poor which would have made for an unsatisfactory description.  But luckily, you passed that test.

It seems as though your collage deals with your experience that you have gained here at SIU, wether it be with friends, teachers, classes, or roommates.  From your collage it seems that you have had a good experience here and that you might like to have a little fun every now and then (hint, hint, throwin up the gang sign).  Haha.

    What are the shapes? circles, octagon,

    Suitcase

    My suitcase would be one bright solid color on the outside, such as orange, yellow, or red, with the material would be a rough, hard leather. The inside of the suitaces would have a flowing design of multiple colors that would intertwine. The inside lining would be made of a shiney silk material that gathered in certain areas. The overall shape of the suitcase would be a modern look and snap buttons would be used to latch it shut on the top and sides of it. There would be multiple compartments inside of the suitcase, one being particularily for medical supplies, one for everyday clothing, and an area with slots for photos of friends and family. The suitcase would be small and used for traveling for short periods of time. When it opens a mini lights brightens as all the photos and other supplies can easily be seen in dim settings.

     

    Map

    My map would be three dimensional , and have natural/ neutral colors. The tactile part of the map would be consistant with the actual terrain of the environment that it is representing. My map would not only show terrain but also the seasons and weather conditions. This map provides the best way of travel by beauty of scenery, rather than the fastest route. If You fallow this map it will take you through all of the seasons and provide the most beatiful mountains, oceans, beaches, trails, and much more. Whether by plane, bike, or car this map will show the beauty and nature that our earth provides and that many people overpass, beacuse they are always traveling on the fastest route.

     

    Monster

    If I were a monster my hair to have a mind of its own and thus, change daily into different colors, styles, and textures. My skin would be blue and my eye color would change depending on the craving that i'm having at that time. If I was craving chocalate ice cream, my eyes would turn brown, if I was craving licorice my eyes would turn red, craving an orange and my eyes would turn orange. I would only wear black and white due to the abondunce of color I would already consist of. When things don't go my way my head would start to rotate 360 degrees and does not stop until things do start to go my way and my head randomly stops wherever it is, sometimes resulting a little backwards. I'm friendly to all people until they look at me the wrong way which happends a lot, in which I turn them into the monster that I am by lazering them with my eyes.
